Construction Engineering Technology

 (Assembly Construction Direction)

I.  Training Goals

The major of Construction Engineering Technology (CET) prepares graduates as high-quality and skilled professionals for the modernization of construction industry. Students will not only have a sound theoretical foundation of assembly construction and production management as the core, but also master the process of construction products’ structural design, parts manufacturing and construction management. In teaching and learning, the CET puts emphasis on students’ practical, innovative and organizational management capabilities and abilities to engage in assembly building structure design, construction site organization management and technical guidance, construction budget and cost management, which are needed in positions of real estate industry and construction industry.

 II. Major Characteristics

The construction engineering technology of Civil Engineering College is a national brand major and a key construction major of municipal key vocational college construction project and municipal professional capacity enhancement project. This major, in cooperation with Hessen State Training Association in Germany, has set up a Sino-German international class. After 2 years of vocational skills and practice in Germany, students would have the opportunity to work in Germany or return to their home country.

The major of CET maintains a faculty team with excellent levels of teaching and academic achievements. There are 22 faculty members, including 6 senior professionals, 11 with postgraduate degree, 11 double-qualified teachers and 5 full-time practical training instructors. More than 10 faculty members have been sent to Germany, Japan and Lidewu Housing Technology Co., Ltd.in Shen Zhen, China to systematically study the advanced theory and practical operation of assembled architecture. Meanwhile, a number of famous scholars and experts in construction engineering have been invited as distinguished professors, such as Prof. Jiang Huancheng（Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the designer of Shanghai “Oriental Pearl” TV Tower) and Dr. Yang Digang（from Yangdi Steel Assembly Design and Research Institute in Beijing）. Additionally, a Chongqing academician expert workstation has also been established in the college, integrating entrepreneurship, innovation, technological transformation, and product development.

An assembled architectural experimental training center with an assembly building PC structure production line, which is the only one in Chinese colleges and universities at present, has been founded in our college, in cooperation with well-known enterprises at home and abroad, such as Lidewu Housing Technology Co., Ltd. in Shen Zhen, Yangdi Steel Assembly Design and Research Institute in Beijing and BiW Elford Training Center in Germany. Together with the Civil Engineering Experimental Training Center, the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Training Center, and the Virtual Reality (VR) Experimental Training Center, the college has more than 6000 square meters of training areas and over 1000 sets of training equipment, which is worth more than 25 million RMB in total.

Based on its own teaching staff and preponderant training conditions, programs in this major are designed to train students for transformation of architectural modernization, regional economic development and national infrastructure construction in countries along “Belt and Road Initiative”. Great emphasis is put on cultivating capabilities of structural design of assembled buildings, organization management and technical guidance on construction site, and construction budget and cost management. Graduates, with high quality and creativity, will engage in technical management position on the production line in real estate enterprises, construction enterprises, and assembly component production factories as well.

Big Data Technology and Application

I. Training Goals

The major of Big Data Technology and Application (BDTA) mainly geared to the needs of the development of the digital age. The programs are going to help students to master the application framework of big data and its ecosystem; acquire basic skills on of big data collection, cleaning, storage, modeling, analysis and fundamental theory, technology, method of big data application and development; be equipped with outstanding abilities of application, development and innovation on big data,  excellent overall  quality and professional skills. Graduates could develop their career in positions from big data application and development to big data analysis, from big data visualization to big data system operation and maintenance, with a wide working range of IT, the Internet, telecommunications, finance, other industrial units and government agencies.

II.             Major Characteristics and Teaching Facilities 

      Big data technology and application(BDTA) is a core major of intelligence at School of Big Data, a key major of Chongqing Real Estate College(CREC) and a key construction major of Chongqing “Double-based” Project. Guided by Chongqing Information Industry Investment Promotion Center and Chongqing Education Commission, and Chongqing Economy and Information Technology Commission, the major of BDTA pays more attention to the school enterprise cooperation and implements a training mode with in-depth cooperation of government, enterprises, and employers. The college has partnered with “Chongqing Hanhai Smart Big Data Technology Co. Ltd.”and the world’s top big data manufacturer “Cloudera”, which has authorized big data training base at the college, bringing internationally leading certification course system of big data to Chongqing and thereby fostering the training of big data professionals in China.

The major of BDTA maintains 16 faculty members, including 9 senior professionals, 11 members with postgraduate degrees, 11 double-qualified teachers and 2 teachers with overseas study experience. The college attaches great importance to the improvement of teachers’ technical ability. Teachers have been frequently assigned to “Chongqing Hanhai Smart Big Data Technology Co., Ltd.”, “Sanmeng Technology Co., Ltd.”, “Beijing Hongya Huayu Technology Co., Ltd.” and other enterprises to systematically learn the advanced theory and technology of big data and take training in project implementation. Six teachers have participated in the training of “Thousand Talents Plan” for big data talent training in Chongqing and all of them have obtained the certificate of “senior engineer of big data”. In addition, the college has also hired 12 “big data senior engineers”, who have rich development experience in the big data industry, as industry mentors to participate in professional teaching, thereby fully guaranteeing the quality of our programs.

 The Training Center of School of Big Data, jointly built by “Chongqing Hanhai Smart Big Data Technology Co. Ltd.” , has a total area of more than 1400 square meters and advanced training equipments which is more than 5 million RMB as its total value. It has set 6 professional training rooms, covering programs of big data operation and management, big data collection and crawling, big data cleaning and mining, big data analysis and visualization, big data application platform development, and big data comprehensive project training. In addition, five off-campus practice and training bases are provided as a good platform for students to learn and research.

 The rapid popularization of the Internet and intelligent terminal and the continuous convergence of information technology and economic society contributes to the rapid growth of data and thus, the development of big data industry has become the national development strategy of China and even countries along the “One Belt and One Road”. The major is to cultivate application-oriented talents who have sturdy theoretical foundation, excellent professional skills and innovation capability. Graduates are expected to work in the Internet, finance as well as other industries and engage in positions of big data application and development, data analysis and processing, system operation and maintenance, etc.

Intelligent Control Technology

Major Goals

The major aims to cultivate high-quality technical personnel to adapt to modern intelligent manufacturing industry internationalization. Programs are going to help students to master the basic theory of intelligent control technology, manufacturing process management and knowledge and be equipped with the designation, installation, maintenance and management of intelligent manufacturing control system. Students will also acquire competent skills, innovation ability, organization and management ability in the field of intelligent manufacturing, which enable them to be highly competent for jobs of system design, installation, production site organization, management and technical guidance, construction budget and cost management.

1.    Specialized characteristic and training requirements

The major of Intelligent Control Technology is developing and growing to strive for the strategy of  “Made in China 2025” and the Belt and Road Initiative. The integrated development of the professional technology and traditional industry promotes the intelligent transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industry.

       There are an excellent faculty of 13 teaching members, including 5 senior professionals, 1 with doctoral degree, 10 with postgraduate degree, 9 double-qualified teachers and 2 full-time practical training instructors.

We have cooperation with Chongqing huashu Robot Co., LTD and Chongqing Mengxun Electronic Technology Co., LTD. to build PCB intelligent production base. We have also cooperated with Yang digang prefabricated building design and research institute(Beijing) co.LTD and Chongqing machinery (holding) group has built the only prefabricated building PC structure production line of prefabricated building intelligent experimental training center in Chinese universities.Our facilities include robot experimental training center, automatic production line experimental center and basic experimental training center, etc., covered area of more than 6000 square meters, containing more than 1000 sets of equipment worth more than 55 million RMB.

Electric Commerce

1.Training Goals

Training goals of E-commerce major are to make graduates meet the need of modern service industry and be able to independently construct and promote e-commerce platform, plan and operate the internet products, and operate and manage cross-border e-commerce. In addition, graduates will become skilled and highly qualified technical personnel who have engaged engage in the electronic commerce marketing and planning, website promotion, website operation, the Internet product planning and design, website construction and development and other business work.

2.Major Characteristics

The major of E-commerce is the key construction major of city-level specialty transformation project. Cooperated with Alibaba Group, Hualong Network Group and Chongqing Broadcasting Group, the college has jointly built the e-commerce major and a modern service industry park, in order to addressing the shortage of e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce talents for  "The Belt and Road Initiative" .

The School is rich in teaching resources, with lots of fruitful achievements. Teachers of this major have more than 10 years of abundant vocational teaching experience who have given Chongqing quality video open class and undertaken a number of teaching and research topics. This major offers a number of modern cutting-edge training rooms and introduces a number of advanced teaching practice software. In Additionally, it cooperates with a number of well-known domestic Internet enterprises and cross-border e-commerce companies to carry out talent training, which leads to a high employment rate.
